I love this session!! Video games are big part of my kid with autism.

I have to be honest, I have trouble letting go of the control when it comes to video games. I should let go and do more… I’m sure my boys would love it.

So glad it helped you! One of my gamers also has autism too so I get it!

I think it takes a mind shift from “screens are bad” to “its just another way to play and learn”. When we make that shift then like everything else its good in moderation.

@Cynthia for us it’s a matter of self-control. We’re working on that aspect of good character and when it comes to gaming and schooling I’m concerned that gaming will overtake the schooling part. Maybe I should sit down with the kids and come up with a plan. Express my concerns and we find a solution together.

This was very helpfull. My 11 year old is borderline obsessed with playing video games and it is always a battle in our house. I did allow minecraft education a couple months ago and that helped tremendously.
