Kerry – You have a unique perspective that I didn’t gain until recently. You’ll be able to homeschool with such intentionality! Keep relationships and character first then focus on academics a bit at a time. Have you ever heard of Five In A Row? I love that for K, 1 & 2nd (add reading as they’re ready and math). Blessings!!

“Igniting a fire”… I love that imagery! I’m so glad it was helpful. We’re shaping lives & changing our family trees! Keep rockin’ it, mamma!

“I’ve sparked that in her.” -Destini
I LOVE THIS. This is what I live for, as a homeschooling mamma. I want to see my kids and my adult children thrive as who God created them to be… if I can *spark* something beautiful in them, I’ll be content.

Wonderful talk, Destini. Thank you for sharing all your experience & wisdom & reminding us we can do this.

We homeschool so we can shape our kiddos’ character, so we can enjoy learning together, to embrace the flexibility of Dad’s job and to help our children build relationships w/one another across all their ages. (Love this talk so far, btw!)

Kimberly, keep building your family’s legacy! I’m grateful Shaun is encouraging us to make space to think through our homeschool & family priorities. Weekends like this are priceless!
